ISG Totty - Secures latest North-West Healthcare Project
ISG Totty Building has secured its latest public
sector project in the North-West - a £750K contract with
Bolton Hospitals NHS Trust to build a new Children’s
Assessment Unit at the Accident & Emergency (A & E)
department of the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Work has now commenced on the construction of a
single-storey extension at the hospital to house the new
unit, which will treat over 20,000 children and young
people who visit A & E annually. The facility will
feature a reception, six treatment rooms, four
assessment and observation beds, a resuscitation area,
plus a waiting and play area. ISG Totty will also
reconfigure and rationalise space in the existing A & E
department, with the entire project being carried out in
a live environment, as the busy hospital remains in full
operation throughout the works programme.
