Fire Fighting Enterprises - Stay Secure With Fire Safety Road Show

Fire Fighting Enterprises (FFE) will be working with ADI/Gardiner in giving a series of Continuous Personal Development seminars around the UK to promote further understanding of fire safety regulations, and to help in meeting the demands of recent amendments and additions to the legislation – in short, helping people to be safer from fire risks.
Running from 14th March to 26th October, the road show consists of twelve seminars over two days at each of the eight venues (admittance to which is free of charge), where FFE will be presenting on how to satisfy the EN54 requirements for the installation of beam devices in order to minimise the frequency of false alarms, and the impact on CE marking that the Construction Products Directive will have.
FFE specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of beam-type smoke detectors, whose wide-area coverage makes them especially suitable for broad interior spaces. With final certification of the new Fireray 5000 self-adjusting and visibly aligned optical beam sensor system currently undergoing completion, the company is keen to share their expertise to help ensure that the unique benefits of beam-type detection are fully forwarded to the end user. Further details and a copy of the CPD 2007 brochure are available on the company’s website at www.ffeuk.com.
ADI-Gardiner is a leading supplier of security products to traders and alarm installation services, and as such is rightfully taking a leading role in supplying the training necessary to maximise the benefit of those products by working to run the CPD road show. Those in the best position to give such training are the product designers and manufacturers themselves, to which end FFE and others will each be offering guidance on a different facet of the fire industry to enhance the skills and knowledge of those in attendance.
