Carillion wins £46m Caribbean contract

Carillion has won a £46 million contract to build a stunning
hotel resort complex in the Caribbean.
The contract will involve building a 104-room hotel complex with
conference facilities, spa and restaurant as well as retail and
administration facilities.
There will also be extensive outdoor amenities including
swimming pools and leisure areas all set within beautiful
landscaped gardens.
The work on the impressive new Viceroy Resort is due to finish
in January 2009.
Carillion Caribbean regional director Albert Barclay said:
“Carillion is delighted to have been awarded this contract to
build such a stunning resort facility which will enhance
Anguilla’s reputation as one of the premiere destinations in the
Caribbean.”
