ARDEX UK, manufacturers of fast track industrial flooring systems, once again teamed up with Amicitia UK Ltd of South Devon to provide a new resin floor system at the Duchy College in Cornwall. Known as 'Cornwall's College of the Countryside', Duchy College prides itself on being one of the leading horticulture and agriculture colleges in the country and is based on two main campus sites within Cornwall. Stoke Climsland is the larger of the two, offering residential facilities which can accommodate up to 100 students. With a broad base of subject areas ranging from Agriculture and Equine Studies to Outdoor Pursuits, Public Services, Sport and Childcare, the campus offers students a unique atmosphere and friendly work environment.

Amicitia UK specified ARDEX R 90 P Rake and Trowel Grade Heavy Duty Polyurethane Screed in cream for installation within the new Food Technology Centre at Duchy College. Utilised within many food processing environments, drinks production, dairies and general heavy duty plant and traffic areas, ARDEX R 90 P has been repeatedly proven to deliver fast track performance, high levels of chemical resistance and a seamless, joint free finish.

ARDEX R 90 P’s installation process is more efficient than a traditional trowel applied heavy duty polyurethane screed as it has been specially formulated to provide an easily worked system that can be rapidly applied using a pin rake and trowel technique. The cured system forms a tough, easily cleaned, pigmented layer from 4mm up to 9mm thick, resulting in a tough, slip resistant resin flooring system.
