Leading construction company John O’Neill and
Partners Ltd (JONAP) has won the tender to undertake a £2m design
and build refurbishment project for the National Archives at Kew.
The refurbishment comprises a series of fast track phases, working
mainly out of hours to ensure that there is minimal disruption to
The National Archives’ public services.
The National Archives were impressed with JONAP’s submission and
presentation, and proposals for working on the basis of the firm’s
unique “Roundtable” management of construction. JONAP also has
extensive experience of successfully working in occupied buildings,
which was particularly important for this project.
JONAP is working on this twenty-two week project in partnership with
Hitek (M&E consultants), TTSP (design consultants) and Turner and
Townsend Project Managers.
Managing Director of JONAP, John O’Neill, comments:
“I am delighted to have secured the tender for this prestigious
project, particularly given the stiff competition. My team and I
look forward to working closely with The National Archives team
throughout this project.”
