Saint-Gobain Isover is launching the second phase
of its unrivalled programme of insulation training for merchants and
distributors.
The on-line element can be used as a pre-study guide, a refresher
course or as a training solution in its entirety and is hosted by
the UK’s leading distance learning provider, Cortexa. It is assessed
on an individual basis and should typically take a student around an
hour to complete – comparable to an architect’s CPD course.
The web-based module has been specifically designed to meet the
demands of the modern construction industry and at the end of the
training module delegates will be more knowledgeable about the
insulation market and the factors that drive sales.
They will also better appreciate the benefits of glass mineral wool
insulation, what impact the acoustic and thermal building
regulations have on the insulation industry, and how to maximise
profits from insulation sales.
Isover’s classroom-based training launched earlier in the year has
been very popular and the training schedule has been very busy.
Saint-Gobain Isover communications manager Clare Burton said: “Our
classroom training has been incredibly successful but adding the
on-line capability truly means this bespoke choice of learning
facilities is unrivalled in the insulation industry.”
