Forward Vision’s leading ‘Metal Mickey’ MIC1
series of Pan, Tilt & Zoom (PTZ) CCTV cameras have been enhanced to
include brushless motors as standard - delivering superior control,
virtually silent operation and unmatched reliability. The company
believes this makes the brushless MIC1 the smoothest, most versatile
PTZ camera currently available on the market. The virtually silent
operation ensures that sound does not resonate through buildings and
poles where the cameras are installed, a common problem with many
other PTZ cameras.
Richard Markham, one of the founding design engineers at Forward
Vision said, "The introduction of brushless motors comes after a
full year of research and development and ensures that we remain at
the forefront of PTZ camera technology. Having successfully
completed a full programme of field testing, we are now including
brushless motors in all new-build cameras".
All MIC1 series cameras are proven to deliver reliable performance
in the most demanding conditions, but the use of brushless motors
will deliver much longer life span and reliability. The MIC1 series
is backed by a full three-year warranty for added certainty.
All the attributes that have made the MIC1 series the top PTZ camera
in the UK over the last 5 years, such as an IP68 rating for optimum
protection against the elements, optically perfect flat viewing
window and vandal resistant design, are retained. The MIC1 series
consists of aluminium, stainless steel, infrared, underwater,
thermal, ATEX certified, static and public address system ranges,
and each with a host of camera, mounting and accessory options, to
ensure a best-fit solution can be achieved for virtually any
application - regardless of the installed environment.
