VitrA - Appoints new member to contracts team
International bathroom brand VitrA has strengthened its contract
team in the shape of Ian Pearson, who has been appointed as the
company’s northern contracts manager.
Pearson joins VitrA from Porcelanosa where he worked for nine years,
building his way up to north east area sales manager. Pearson brings
to VitrA an in-depth knowledge of architects and housebuilders and
his role will focus on developing relationships with national
companies based in the north of England.
Pearson’s appointment comes as VitrA’s UK contracts team embarks on
its sixth successful year. Headed by contracts and specifications
manager Phil Baker, the VitrA team’s expansion follows a series of
recent high profile successes across a wide range of sectors,
securing bathroom and washroom specifications for volume
housebuilders, niche architectural schemes, leisure and transport
projects including Heathrow Terminal 5, London’s Absolute Ice Bar,
McDonalds, Taylor Wimpey and Dakota Hotels.
Commenting on Pearson’s appointment, Phil Baker said: “We’ve seen a
substantial increase in the number of business prospects in the
