Dawn Construction - Changes at the top
Dawn Construction has announced the retirement of two
directors, which has lead to promotions within the
company to fill these senior positions.
With Alex Kerr, Construction Director, and Gordon
Thomson, Commercial Director, announcing their plans to
retire at the end of this year, Dawn Construction is
taking the opportunity to unveil the new appointments of
Eddie Robertson as Construction Director, Eric Fleming
becoming the new Surveying Director and Steve McMillan’s
promotion to Commercial Director.
Ray Eve, Managing Director of Dawn Construction Ltd
said: “I am delighted to welcome Eddie, Eric and Steve
as directors of the company. They have worked long and
hard to help put Dawn where it is and, now, in their new
roles, will continue to move the company on to meet the
targets we have set ourselves for the future
“At the same time I want to thank Alex and Gordon for
all of their dedication and hard effort over the last 30
years and having provided a great platform from which to
continue to develop the business.
“It’s an exciting time for us, with our PFI portfolio
expanding across the country in schools and hospitals as
well as our involvement in projects in practically every
part of the country.”
Eddie said: “As we move forward we will build on the
legacy of Alex and Gordon to ensure that when people
want a partner they can trust and rely upon, they
continue to think of Dawn first.
Eric added: “It’s flattering to be given this position
to take Dawn forward in the 21st Century as it’s an
exciting time for the contstruction industry.”
Steve commented: “Dawn are recognised as being a quality
Scottish construction firm in every sector and as we
move forward, the challenge is to ensure that not only
do we uphold Dawn’s good name but improve on it in the
years to come.”
