Buredi - Sparks tidal wave of interest
A stunning new showhome in Leith’s trendy
waterfront area is set to launch this October, following a tidal
wave of interest from potential home owners in recent months.
The showhome at Coalhill 2, an £8m development by award winning
developers, BUREDI, which is a joint venture by The Burrell Company
and The EDI Group, is set to be a huge hit with house hunters
looking for a unique home located within a wealth of amenities
including hotels, buzzing bars and top restaurants.
The two bedroom apartment comprises a living room with sliding door
access to the second bedroom and a double glazed roof terrace
overlooking the Water of Leith. A separate kitchen has been supplied
and fitted by leading manufacture ALNO. The apartment has been
tastefully decorated with furnishings from Bo Concept, bringing the
development to life and providing inspiration on interiors for any
one of the apartments currently available.
Continuing the architectural style of respected Edinburgh based
architects, Allan Murray Architects (AMA), who designed both phases;
Coalhill 2 is at the cutting edge of property design. AMA
architectural excellence was critically acclaimed resulting in the
scheme being presented with both ‘The Britannia Best Apartment of
the Year in the UK’ and ‘The Britannia Building of the Year’ awards
in 2001.
The apartments are grouped around a secure, private courtyard and
benefit from a designated underground car parking space with lift
access to all floors.
Three exceptional penthouse apartments are also available comprising
three bedrooms including one en-suite, large living areas, fully
equipped kitchen and a spacious terrace overlooking the Shore.
Leith has undergone a major transformation in recent years and has
emerged as a stylish, fashionable place to live, particularly
popular among young professionals. The first phase of the Coalhill
development was central to this redevelopment, boosting property
standards in the area and creating a highly desirable urban
community.
Further investment in the area includes a new landscaped play
facility for open access financed by BUREDI.
Almost 50% of the apartments have already been snapped up, and due
to increased demand a further nine apartments are soon to be
released. Prices are from £190,000.
The sales centre is open weekly from Thursday until Monday between
11pm and 5pm, where prospective buyers can view the apartments prior
to the opening of the showhome in October.
