Steelwork connection
specialists Access Technologies Ltd has expanded its
website to offer individual websites for eight
countries in five different languages.
Through the main portal at www.beamclamp.com
visitors to the website can select their country
from a list that includes the UK, Germany, the USA,
Canada, Spain, Italy, France and the United Arab
Emirates. Users are then taken to a home page in
their native tongue that provides them with contact
details for their nearest sales office as well as
links to a fully translated catalogue.
“As Access Technologies grows and becomes more
active in countries around the globe, we realise how
important it is to make our customer’s lives as
simple and stress-free as possible” says Ian Page,
general manager for Access Technologies in the UK.
“By creating a multi-lingual website and a catalogue
available in a number of languages, our customers
will find using our website that bit easier and,
more importantly, avoid any confusion and ordering
errors with our products and services!”

BeamClamp fixings are specifically developed for the
requirements of the modern construction industry,
bringing unique benefits of easy specification and
use, high safety performance and long-lasting
reliability to all applications today.
As the only range of fixings on the market which are
both DIBt approved and hot dip galvanised as
standard, specifying BeamClamp could not be easier,
whatever the project. Unlike with traditional
drilled or welded joints, they allow easy adjustment
and re-alignment to cope with site tolerances,
reducing installation difficulty and time. The range
also features BoxBolt cavity fixings designed to
connect steelwork into hollow section or for use
where access is only available from one side. All
sizes of BoxBolt contain an overlap feature to allow
for unforeseen variations in steel thicknesses,
making them especially easy to work with in contrast
to other steel fixings on the market. BeamClamp
fixings are also manufactured from ductile iron,
typically giving a 25% improvement in tensile
strength over the ordinary malleable iron used in
alternative products.
Established in 1995, Access Technologies is staffed
by an experienced team of construction professionals
and chartered engineers, capable of dealing with any
technical enquiry quickly, knowledgeably and
efficiently. The company’s manufacturing and
warehousing facility is located in the West Midlands
area.
