The versatile new Drop luminaire from Luxo Lighting has been
specifically designed to provide low glare, uniform illumination in
classrooms and offices. Available in pendant and wall mounted
versions; Drop has an ingenious reflector system that provides
optimum light distribution. Utilising an energy efficient T5
fluorescent lamp, the new luminaire has two diffuser options, cross
blade louvre or soft acrylic diffuser for even greater flexibility.
Wall mounted Drop offers the perfect solution for the illumination
of display boards in schools and conference environments, as its
symmetrical light distribution and cross blade louvre effectively
eliminates reflections. The louvre also makes installation much
closer to the display area possible. Wall mounted Drop is also
suitable for lighting bookcases in libraries or shelf lighting in
retail applications.
Drop pendant has been developed for use with one or two T5 lamps and
is available with either direct or direct/indirect light
distribution. Available in white, black or grey finish to blend
easily into most environments, Drop pendant comes with sliding
suspension wires for variable fixing distance, as standard and can
be supplied with a variety of dimmable alternatives and sensors. The
controlled illumination, slim form and compact dimensions of Drop
pendant make it the lighting designer’s choice for the modern office
environment. Both of the Drop luminaire options are available in
single units or as a quick fit system for modular installation.
