Faithful+Gould - Leeds office expanding

International project management and cost consultants Faithful+Gould, has announced expansion at its Leeds office with the recent recruitment of some 15 new staff.

The appointments across a number of disciplines such as project management and quantity surveying also reflect differing levels of seniority, ranging from trainee building and quantity surveyors to associate director.

This high level of recruitment over a short period of time reflects Faithful+Gould’s continuing success at securing contract wins on projects across a diverse range of sectors including education and social housing. Such a significant level of growth is also being enjoyed elsewhere in the consultant’s network of offices including those in Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington, where a total of 43 members of staff have been appointed in a 12 week period.

In Leeds the building surveying, health & safety and administration teams have each been boosted by the arrival of new faces, while Michael Jaconelli joins as CDM Co-ordinator. Reflecting the biggest area of growth, the quantity surveying team has increased its numbers by a further nine. Finally, James Clink and Richard Bates are both benefiting from a one year industrial placement.

Speaking about this recruitment drive, David Holmes, managing director for the Central region, said:

“In terms of recruitment the construction sector is as competitive as ever so it has been extremely satisfying for F+G to make such a high number of appointments. Recruiting and retaining qualified staff is a key priority for us and we recognise that in order to continue to win work and support that growth we must have the right mix and calibre of staff. To that end we make ongoing investment in the recruitment and personal development of all employees, each one making their own valuable contribution to the Company’s success.”

Michael Jaconelli added:

“Joining Faithful+Gould at this level is a great opportunity for me to add to my experience - and, crucially, this will assist in further strengthening the services we offer to clients.”
