Vencel Resil - New cavity wall insulation gives 20 percent
better performance
An improved ‘tongued and grooved’
cavity wall insulation is now available that offers
increased thermal performance of 20% over traditional
materials.
One of the leading suppliers of expanded polystyrene
insulation Vencel Resil has developed Jablo fulfill
specifically to help housebuilders meet the latest
Building Regulations requirements for energy efficiency
as well as the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Neil Conway, General Sales Manager for Vencel Resil,
explains: “This latest product development has been
designed in response to developer needs for an
insulation method that can guarantee a lower U-value for
a building and is suitable for most wall constructions.
This is a really user-friendly solution that offers much
improved performance and we are looking forward to
demonstrating the benefits to the building industry.”
Jablo fulfill is a moulded expanded polystyrene board
with fluted face and tongued and grooved edge, which
fully interlocks to provide a robust fit on all four
sides. The product achieves a Lambda value of 0.030 W/mK,
which offers building designers a very efficient way to
meet the regulations, whilst retaining an open cavity
wall construction. Available in two standard
thicknesses: 75mm and 100mm to suit individual
requirements, Jablo fulfilL is instantly recognisable by
its grey and orange speckled colouration.
The sophisticated design of the board means the outer
flutes direct moisture down the exterior face of the
insulation, ensuring that damp does not become a
problem. The tongue and groove jointing also means that
moisture cannot pass between the edges of panels onto
the internal wall.
With the increasing pressures to create buildings that
meet thermal performance and sustainability
requirements, Jablo fulfill is the perfect choice for
housebuilders looking for simple and effective way to
meet Building Regulations.
Jablo fulfill is part of a complete range of energy
efficient solutions developed for the construction
industry by Vencel Resil. Expanded polystyrene is 100
percent recyclable, as well as HCFC-free and non-toxic.
