Saint-Gobain Pipelines plc - Enhances the profile of its market
leading Classical PLUS rainwater systems
Saint-Gobain Pipelines’ Classical PLUS range of pre-painted,
ready to install cast iron rainwater systems continues to be the
specifiers choice for homes of all architectural types, old or new.
The inherent good looks and durability of Classical PLUS has long
been popular for buildings where traditional aesthetics, strength
and longevity are important considerations. The range, which was
previously only available in ‘half round’ gutters and round down
pipes, has now been expanded to include the Ogee gutter profile – a
decorative gutter particularly favoured for Victorian and Georgian
style buildings and the self-build market.
To further enhance the range, Saint-Gobain Pipelines has added
colour to Classical PLUS with a choice of six new colours. Cast iron
is predominantly installed black, however the Classical PLUS range
is also available in green, blue, red, light and dark brown, and
grey, to satisfy the occasions when other colours would be more
appropriate.
The durable Polymer coating is factory applied to a consistent
standard and does not require additional labour time for under
coating and top coating prior to installation, thus the installed
time is reduced by up to 60%. When used with Saint-Gobain’s gutter
jointing kits, installation can be completed in one day. Tested to
1000 hours of salt spray, the coating has a proven track record for
exterior metal applications.
