Dimplex UK Ltd - Returns to its roots
To reflect a heritage going back almost 60 years, the
UK’s space and water heating market leader is changing
its name back to Dimplex UK Limited.
Known for several years as Glen Dimplex UK to highlight
its ownership by the global Glen Dimplex Group,
Dimplex’s new identity comes into effect on 1st August
and will not only consolidate the brand’s strong market
status, but avoid confusion with its parent company.
Managing director Stuart Mackenzie comments, “Together
with its people, one of Dimplex’s major assets is its
trusted and respected brand name. We feel that the
change gives the famous name the emphasis that it
deserves.”
Dimplex UK employs some 200 people from its
purpose-built offices in Southampton and has an
extensive product portfolio including heat pumps, solar
heating, water heating and commercial heating as well as
its award-winning Optiflame fires, domestic heating and
portable products.
