Persimmon Homes - Acquisition for Persimmon Homes East Midlands
Peterborough-based Persimmon Homes
has acquired land in Frognall, Lincolnshire and
Littleport in Cambridgeshire with a combined gross
development value of more than £34.5 million.
One of the UK’s largest housebuilders, Persimmon has
launched several new sites during 2006 and these recent
acquisitions will help ensure 2007 is just as successful
for the company.
A total of 40 properties with a mix of townhouses and
traditional homes are due to be built at Frognall, at a
site that is expected to occupy more than 2.5 acres.
Meanwhile, at Littleport, 159 homes will be constructed
with a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom
houses on 12 acres of land.
Daryl Kirkland, land director for Persimmon Homes East
Midlands, said: “We are building on the success of our
new housing provision in Peterborough and surrounding
area, where we aim to satisfy the demand for new housing
in the region. We expect work to commence on site in
summer this year.”
Persimmon is always interested in purchasing land and a
site occupying two acres or more which is in easy drive
of a local and amenities. If you’re a vendor and would
