Inspectahire - Ruggedised Underground 3D Laser Scanner
Inspectahire are pleased to announce the introduction
of the VS150 laser scanner. VS150 is a development of
the Cavity Auto Laser Scanning (C-ALS) System but
omitting items such as the navigation system.
VS150 is designed to operate in demanding under ground
mining environments and is the ideal tool for surveying
manholes and small tanks. It may also be used to measure
un expected voids, stopes and rock faces where access is
limited and difficult.
The VS150 may be deployed conventionally using survey
tripods or by remote control when deployed on rods,
booms, masts, lifts and cranes. It is quick to use – you
do not require hours of set up time - and, as such, is a
vital new piece of equipment for the modern engineer.
VS150 is a small (overall width 130mm and length 490mm),
lightweight (3.5kgs) for easy transportation and
extremely rugged.
Simple to use the Two-Axis-Motorised instrument scans
250 points per second and stores the data on rugged
PDA’s or PC laptop computers. VS150 comes complete with
MDL’s ModelAce® software to display (in real time) laser
point clouds in 3D.
When coupled to our small zoom camera technology, we can
provide a comprehensive visual and software based
definition of void spaces.
