Door & Hardware Federation - DHF Lands main sponsor for its 2007
Expo
Bodycote warringtonfire, the leading fire testing and
fire safety consultants, is to be the main sponsor of
this year’s Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) Conference
and Expo.
This leading event for the door, shutter and hardware
industry is being held on Friday, September 28 in
Loughborough. Its organisers say the event will showcase
best practice in the sector and they expect a large
number of visitors throughout the day.
Bodycote warringtonfire has a long association with the
DHF. Its division Bodycote warringtonapt - UK, which is
a member of the DHF, provides testing services for
architectural products, building hardware, doors and
windows.
Bodycote warringtonfire provides fire testing services
and assessments to a large number of national and
international standards. Its certification services of
products and installers is undertaken through CERTIFIRE
and FIRAS schemes and at a European level in support of
CE marking against various EU Directives.
Said DHF chief executive officer Ian Wood: “We are
delighted to have Bodycote warringtonfire as the lead
sponsor of this year’s DHF Expo. Attracting a sponsor of
this calibre shows that the DHF Expo is now a
must-attend event for the doors, shutters and hardware
sector.”
Now further sponsorship opportunities are being offered
to other organisations wanting to increase their profile
in front of key industry figures. There are a number of
opportunities available, including sponsorship of
individual workshops and other events. Sponsorship
packages will include logos on printed material handed
to delegates and advertising on giant plasma screens
throughout the exhibition site. All those interested
should contact the DHF Secretariat on 01827 52337 or
email: info@dhfonline.org.uk .
Visitors on September 28 will be able to visit a large
number of trade stands in the conference area at
Loughborough University’s Sir Denis Rooke Building,
Holywell Park. They will also be able to attend
specialist free workshops which cover a wide variety of
hot topics, including the latest legislation which is
impacting on the industry. The Expo runs from 9 am to 3
pm. Entrance is free. A buffet lunch will be available
for all delegates.
The DHF represents all the key players in industrial and
commercial doors & shutters and garage doors and also
represents the leading UK manufacturers of building
hardware and architectural ironmongery. Its 2007
Conference and Expo is open to members and non members
alike. It is planned to be even larger than last year’s
successful event.
“The DHF Conference and Expo is an opportunity for us to
showcase best practice within our industry and we are
confident it will attract a large number of visitors,”
said Ian Wood.
The DHF Conference and Expo is taking place in the
