Ancon Building Products - Warm Roof Batten Fixings In straight…..or in skew?

Ancon has launched an innovative Alignment Tool to help roofing contractors improve build quality when constructing a Warm Roof. This tool vertically aligns Staifix-Thor Helical batten fixings on the counterbatten to rafter arrangement. It guides a fixing squarely into the centre of a rafter’s upper face, which is hidden from the view of the installer.
The launch of this unique tool coincides with Ancon’s development of a new range of batten fixings and the ‘HeliCalc’ calculator.
The product range now consists of three fixing types: Standard, Standard-Plus and Heavy Duty. Heavy Duty fixings, with their larger cross-sectional area and increased rigidity, can provide labour savings of up to 75% over the Standard range.
HeliCalc is a free program which calculates the length, density and quantity of batten fixings for a specific project; users simply input details of their site location and roof construction.
