Kee Klamp Ltd - Kee Klamp Ltd extends colour choice
Safety structures specialist, Kee Klamp Ltd, now
offers architects, specifiers and contractors the option
of a polyester powder coated finish in the full range of
RAL colours for their market leading Kee Klamp®
fittings, corrosion-resistant Kee Lite® and DDA
(Disability Discrimination Act) compliant 500 Series
product ranges. This extensive range of colours allows
greater aesthetic freedom in designing and creating
tubular structures to fit with buildings and their
environment, and also helps meet the requirements of the
DDA.
The Kee Klamp® fittings range comprises a comprehensive
selection of simple to use, galvanised cast iron
fittings. These allow pre-cut lengths of standard tubing
to be connected together to form a variety of safety
guardrailing and other types of tubular framework
structure – a versatility now matched by the
comprehensive choice of RAL colours available to suit
different installation requirements. All fittings within
the Kee Klamp® range incorporate an integral socket
screw which locks the fitting securely onto its tube to
give an excellent slip load performance.
Working on a similar ‘locking’ principle, the Kee Lite®
range of light-weight, corrosion resistant fittings is
manufactured from a high grade Aluminium Silicon
Magnesium alloy. With their bright aluminium finish and
unique contoured design, Kee Lite® fittings provide an
aesthetically attractive finish, now further enhanced by
the increased colour range option.
The 500 Range of Kee Klamp® fittings are specifically
designed to give a smooth handrail with size 7 tube
(outside diameter 42.4mm), ensuring compatibility with
the DDA recommendations. The 500 series can be easily
augmented with fittings from the established Kee Klamp®
fittings range to create a complete, cost-effective
answer to DDA requirements, with the choice of powder
coating in all of the RAL colours helping to satisfy the
DDA’s specific visibility and “not cold-to-the-touch”
criteria.
