Decra - Decra debuts at 100% detail
Decra will showcase a revolutionary lightweight steel
roof tile when it debuts (stand K145) at 100% Detail at
London’s Earls Court from September 20-23.
The world pioneers of lightweight roofing solutions have
launched the Elegance tile, which uses the same paint
technology as Audi engineering, to UK specifiers.
Available in three satin finishes and a high-gloss
elegant black, and soon to be joined by dry- and
cool-roof versions, the tile adopts the Decra trend of
an additional protective coating on the underside which
is unique to the brand and gives it even greater
longevity.
Elegance has been produced using a unique four-stage
manufacturing process as opposed to the usual two
stages, with a powder coating on the upper surface as
opposed to the traditional Decra granular coating.
Decra roof tiles were revolutionary when they were
launched in the UK 30 years ago. Their core of
galvanised steel with a multi-layered protective coating
and granular finish offers the appearance of traditional
clay or concrete pantiles but with exceptional
performance characteristics.
These include ease of handling, fast installation,
exceptional durability and low maintenance. In fact,
independent research for Decra has shown their
lightweight steel tiles are up to 66% cheaper than other
roofing systems based on a whole life costing basis.
