British Harlequin - The National Ballet Company of Portugal
choose Harlequin Liberty
For a while now, the National Ballet Company of
Portugal (CNB) has been equipped with a Harlequin
portable Liberty floor for its main stage. The company
chose Harlequin Liberty because it could be used for
classical, neo-classical and modern dance. To cover the
floor, Mehmet Balkan’s company chose Harlequin Cascade
vinyl.
After several months, the National Ballet Company
praised the installation of the Harlequin Liberty floor
and added that there had been no changes in the
stability of the floor even after several months usage.
Harlequin Cascade vinyl is judged as being just as easy
to lay. It turns out that the dancers liked dancing on
the Harlequin Liberty floor because of its energy return
and shock absorbency. They are also less tired after
their performances and experience fewer aching muscles
during the show. These characteristics compared to the
old wooden floor, show that there is a distinct
preference by professionals for the newly acquired
Harlequin floor.
The Portuguese company renown for the quality of
classical performances such as Giselle, Don Quixote, La
Dame aux Camélias or L’Oiseau de Feu insist that a
Harlequin Liberty floor is reliable and truly meets the
needs of its artists and dancers when giving their high
level performances.
