Advanced Ergonomic Technologies - Sustainable Building comes of
age
Advanced Ergonomic Technologies (AET) the world’s leading
underfloor air conditioning specialists have just received the order
for the 34000m2 office area in the NINA TOWER in Hong Kong. Each
floor will include 2000sq m of raised floor, 8 CAM35 zone
units,160fantile units, State of the Art Hirovisor Controls and
Electropatent underfloor modular power tracks.
Commenting on this new project Glan Blake Thomas Managing Director
said “the world is recognising the distinct advantages in terms of
energy saving and sustainability that the Flexible Space System
offers. Further more the height saving that the system can achieve
(sometimes in excess of 10%) when compared with conventional ceiling
based system such as Fan Coils or VAV grants savings in initial
construction cost in the region of 7-10%. Developers in the Far East
are capitalising on this and have built at least 5 million sq feet
of space incorporating underfloor air.”
Linked with raised access floor and demountable partitions the
system offers probably the most flexible solution for office space
available.
