Castlemore - Castlemore invests in Development Team
A West Midlands-based property developer has received
a significant boost with the appointment of a new
investment and development manager.
Chartered surveyor, Peter Fowles has joined Castlemore,
one of the UK’s leading property developers as the
company goes from strength to strength in the wake of
the 30 per cent plus growth of its assets in the last
year.
Previously a director in the valuation advisory business
at Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr Fowles brings to Castlemore
the benefits of almost 20 years experience in commercial
property consultancy.
Mr Fowles‘ experience includes a seven year period as
asset manager for Severn Trent Property’s distribution
warehouse development portfolio, and he also founded and
managed a service charge project for J D Weatherspoon’s
460 properties.
He established Weatherall Green and Smith’s Birmingham
office during a 12 year stint with the company, moving
to Jones Lang LaSalle in 2004 after four years with
Fuller Peiser, where he was national head of asset
management.
Castlemore’s managing director, Brad Critcher said:
“Peter’s recruitment will further strengthen our
capability in managing projects and assets, as well as
the acquisition and disposal of properties.
“We have a strategic plan to grow the business and the
role of investment and development manager is a part of
that. Asset management is at the centre of what we do
and the growth of our asset base, around one third in
the last year, is a pointer towards our continuing
expansion in the future".
“We expect to be recruiting more specialists in this
core part of our operation in the next few months.”
Mr Fowles has advised on the full range of issues
relating to commercial properties, as well as their
purchase, development and sale.
He said: “I was attracted by the number of significant
projects that Castlemore are involved in around the
country and my aim will to be to contribute to their
growth in terms of returns on assets.”
Mr Fowles, who is married with two children, lives in
Solihull.
