Weatherite Building Services - Weatherite gives Benefit
Cosmetics a make-over
Weatherite Building Services Ltd has installed a new
air conditioning system at the Benefit Cosmetics store
in St Albans, Hertfordshire a first for this national
chain of ladies beauty specialist suppliers.
The project, included conducting a comprehensive site
survey, designing, supplying and installing a Mitsubishi
Mr Slim Power Inverter Heat Pump split system in a
basement corridor and carrying out related electrical
modifications and new wiring.
The Mitsubishi system was chosen because it combines
high energy efficiency with complete versatility,
allowing the user to choose from a variety of cooling
options. In addition, the equipment is quick and easy to
install, causing minimum disruption to staff and
customers.
Naomi Holbrook, Regional Beauty Consultant at Benefit
said: “We are very pleased with how the installation
went and the staff and customers are already benefiting
from the comfort effect our new air conditioning unit
provides.”
Brian Taylor, Weatherite Sales Engineer involved in the
project added: “Cooling was deemed to be essential for
both client and staff comfort to cater for the heat
output from the extensive use of beauty wax treatment in
this very busy shop.
“Despite the success of this project, it was not without
its challenges as we had to consider the electrical
supply and difficult location of the condensing unit to
ensure heat was rejected without causing problems to
either the unit’s operation or the use of neighbouring
properties.”
