Knowles - Knowles builds on its expertise with key appointments
Construction claims consultant Knowles – a Hill
International company - has strengthened its team with
the appointment of Carl O’Donnell as Senior Consultant.
Carl joins the firms’ Daresbury office, near Warrington,
from David McLean Contractors, where he had worked as a
Managing Surveyor delivering bank and office fit-out
schemes.
At the same time, two key members of staff at Daresbury
have been promoted. Senior Consultant, Damian Waters,
has been appointed Director while Consultant, Paul Ives,
becomes a Senior Consultant.
Simon McKenny, Managing Director and Vice President of
Knowles’ Daresbury branch, said the changes were a
reflection of the growing demand for experienced
consultants to rectify some of the trouble spots which
blight today’s complex construction projects.
He says: “Carl brings more than 24 years of experience
in the construction industry, working on a wide variety
of schemes for both construction and non-construction
based clients.
“He joins Knowles at an exciting time in our development
and I’m certain he will be an invaluable addition to our
team as we continue to move forward.
“Paul and Damian, meanwhile, have both been invaluable
members of the Knowles team and we are only too happy to
reward their hard work with well-deserved promotions.”
Carl says: “This is a really varied role which promises
to use all the experience I’ve gained over the past 24
years, and is a job I will really enjoy. I’ve obviously
been aware of Knowles, and of Hill International, for
many years and the chance to join such a well-respected
company now, at such an exciting time, was an
opportunity I couldn’t resist.”
