John Planck Ltd - Shadow gaps made ISY
Architects and designers can now achieve the coveted
but elusive ‘shadow gap’ between door frame and wall
easily and effectively utilising the new ISY Frame door
jamb system from Italian glass door specialists Henry
Glass. The ISY Frame combines with the company’s
stunning range of internal glass doors to create
dramatic entrances in commercial and domestic interiors.
The new ISY Frame perfectly suits contemporary
architectural settings since the complete absence of
architraves gives a sophisticated, minimalist finish. A
wide variety of finishes is available to match any door
and interior design scheme including metal, wood (such
as olive, teak, cherry, wenge or oak), and special
finishes in Vulcan grey, aluminium or any RAL colour.
ISY Frame is simple to specify and easy to install. It
is designed to compensate for any irregularities in the
opening, making it particularly well suited to
refurbishment projects. It is simply assembled with
screws which provide adjustment to suit different
tolerances and enable variation in the position of the
door in the frame.
Established in 1988 in Oderzo near Venice to capitalise
on the centuries old arts of glass manufacture, Henry
Glass has grown quickly to become an international force
in the glass door market. Henry Glass doors are
available in the UK through John Planck Ltd, award
winning designer, scheduler and supplier of
architectural ironmongery. John Planck Ltd offers
nationwide service supported by architect-designed
showrooms in Clerkenwell and stocks in Kent.
