British Harlequin plc - Harlequin a sponsor for The Theatres

British Harlequin plc will be a sponsor of The
Theatres Trusts’ first annual conference, to be held at
the Young Vic, London on 12th June.
With the title ‘Performing Theatres?’ the event is
scheduled immediately prior to the annual ABTT Theatre
Show, where delegates will then be able to see
Harlequin’s wide range of specialist flooring for
theatres and the performing arts. ‘Performing Theatres?’
will look at how theatres are designed and aims to
attract theatre users responsible for creating
performances, staging productions, running theatres,
managing facilities and attracting audiences to join the
debate on what should be incorporated into the design of
theatres.
Performing Theatres? follows on from the 2006 ABTT
Theatre, Architecture and Engineering Conference held in
June last year, where Harlequin Chairman Bob Dagger
presented a paper and launched Harlequin’s Guide for
Architects. Free copies of the publication – ‘Specifying
Dance Floors: A Guide for Architects’ – can be requested
from the Harlequin web site.
In the evening of the conference, delegates will have
the chance to informally unwind at the ‘End-to-End
Party’ at the Jerwood Space where Harlequin Fiesta is
installed. The event aims to draw together both ABTT
Theatre Show exhibitors and Performing Theatres?
contributors, delegates, visitors, sponsors and invited
guests.
