Advanced Ergonomic Technologies - AET Launch stylish new Nodux
partitioning system
AET has expanded its offering of the versatile, top
quality Movinord demountable partitioning range with the
addition of the stylish, new Nodux system. Designed and
developed with user comfort and the principles of
sustainable buildings in mind, the appeal of the Nodux
partitioning system is its ephemeral appearance whilst
retaining the durability, clean lines and versatility
for which Movinord is well known.
Overlaid with the cutting-edge technological material,
PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate), Nodux is an aluminium
framed fully demountable and relocatable partitioning
system. The PMMA material (as used in aircraft windows
and ice-hockey barriers) is shatterproof and requires
minimal framework support to deliver ‘virtual’
transparent walls. Its superior design and sleek looks
allow property developers, architects and designers to
create a complete, premium-finished office environment
which is easy to re-use and re-configure to meet the
demands of office ‘churn’ without creating waste or
unnecessary expense.
“There is quite simply nothing like Nodux on the market

system. “With office space at a premium, design is
increasingly centred on total space efficiency,
flexibility, and user comfort - Nodux chimes perfectly
with these principles. The translucent appearance of
it’s frames allow the creation of individual ‘private’
offices whilst still retaining the sense of openness
that an open-plan area delivers. And, the flexible
nature of the Nodux system makes both re-distribution
and re-organisation achievable without causing
significant disruption. It also ensures user comfort
accredited to outstanding acoustic insulation.”
Nodux is designed for easy assembly, and when required,
relocation. It is incredibly versatile and offers a 15mm
variable per pane to facilitate relocation of partitions
to areas with different ceiling heights or to cater for
areas with undulations in ceiling height due to
‘concrete sagging’ or uneven floor.
Manufactured using ultra-modem technology which provides
the best in aesthetic decor, the full Movinord product
range has successfully passed a number of tests in
different laboratories on technical aspects including
sound insulation, fire resistance and element
interchangeability. When used in conjunction with AET’s
Flexible Space Concept incorporating raised flooring and
underfloor air conditioning, the truly flexible office
environment can be created, bringing unrivalled
flexibility and cost-savings in office design, function
and operation.
