Armatile and Armashake, to the UK in June/July 2007.
In addition to their wide range of steel roofing profiles (i.e.
IBR, NURIB, Corrugated, Klip-Lok 406 & 700 etc) Global Roofing
Solutions has “state of the art”, metal tile pressing and
coating facilities to manufacture their Armatile range of coated
metal tiles, taking the best-proven attributes that metal roof
tile technology has to offer – worldwide – and combining them

Armatile is manufactured from high yield galvanised steel with a
variety of coating and colour options. These lightweight tiles
provide an attractive and cost effective alternative for the
residential, light commercial and institutional roofing markets.
To suit specific design requirements, the tiles are available in
two attractive profiles:
• Armatile, a familiar Double Roman profile
• Armashake, a wooden shake look-alike.
GRS’s Armatile Roofing Systems are coated in a fungus resistant,
specially formulated, durable acrylic paint, with a low cost
natural grit-textured finish and 7 colours to choose from. To
complete the package there’s a full range of accessories,
flashings and fixings.
Stringent integrity tests and their ISO 9001:2000 quality
management system ensure that GRS-clients are supplied an
environmentally friendly roofing cover with exceptional water
tightness, and thermal and acoustic properties comparable to
most traditional roofing materials. One of the only metal roof
tiles certified by the Agrément Board of SA (BBA certification
pending) as fit for purpose, Armatile Roofing Systems give their
clients peace of mind in the knowledge that their good looking
roof is also safe and durable.
These lightweight tiles are quick and easy to install, but
moreover they provide an above average effective cover,
unsurpassed by most of their competitors. This equates to 1.77
tiles per sq meter and yields a substantial saving on the cost
of timber required for the roof structure.
