WS Atkins Plc - Atkins announces key M+E appointment

Bringing with him exceptional leadership, management and technical experience from consultancy and contracting backgrounds, Alex Foley has been appointed as Head of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services at multidiscipline consultancy Atkins.
Based in the North West, Alex’s remit will see him leading the building services team as well as developing technical work in all market sectors including education, health care, rail, waste management, nuclear engineering, industrial, ministry of defence, commercial, retail and residential.
Speaking about his new role, Alex said: “I was instantly attracted to this job as it offers the opportunity for unlimited career development. Atkins has an excellent reputation for looking after its staff and I am very much looking forward to directing and developing our building services capabilities from a department into a regional, integrated resource.”
Alex will be working with various clients including the London Underground, Liverpool John Moores University, North West Development Agency, Cheshire County Council, Lancashire County Council, United Utilities and the Ministry of Defence.
