Lowry Homes Plc - Board appointment for Becky
Manchester-based new homes builder, Lowry
Homes Plc, announces the promotion to director level of Becky
Leighton, 39, one of the company’s longest-serving staff
members.
Becky advances to the position of Sales Director and now heads
the company’s entire sales team.
Lowry Homes is a major new homes builder with developments
throughout the North West and West Yorkshire. The company is
also a major force in regeneration projects, as well as being
renowned for its two spectacular Grade II listed mill
conversions, one near Halifax and the other outside
Huddersfield.
Becky’s first job after university was with Airtours plc, as a
cabin crew member, but since then her working life has been
spent within the building industry. She was employed by a series
of building companies during the 90’s, beginning with Alfred
McAlpine Homes, followed by Brackenlea Homes and Badger Homes.
Becky joined Lowry Homes in 1998, as one of the company’s
original employees and since then has held the position of Sales
Negotiator, then Area Sales Manager and most recently Sales
Manager.
Becky currently lives in Salford Quays, within sight of Lowry’s
offices and devotes her leisure time to skiing on both water and
snow, golf and reading.
