Weatherite Building Services Ltd - More Weatherite plant for leading West Midlands hospital
Weatherite, the West Midlands based building services
specialists, were called in once more by one of the region’s
leading hospitals to design and supply new ac plant as part of a
refurbishment and conversion project.
The contract involved the installation and commissioning of
wall-mounted cooling equipment which served new IT rooms and a
lecture theatre in the St John’s Wing at Walsall Manor Hospital.
The new facilities are located in an area which was previously
part of the hospital’s social club and the project also called
for the removal of R22 refrigerant and a routine maintenance
check on three existing ac units.
The contract – placed by Procure 21 provider Interserve – is the
latest in a series of projects carried out at Manor Hospital by
Weatherite Building Services which has its headquarters in
nearby Aldridge.
Weatherite Building Services is part of the £40m Weatherite

handling equipment.

Constructionline, the government’s register of companies
pre-qualified to work within the public sector. In addition the
company is on the accredited select list of the CHAS
(Contractors Health and Safety) assessment scheme.
