Tricool Engineering Ltd - ICS Cool Energy Purchases Tricool Engineering
ICS Cool Energy has acquired Tricool Engineering as part of
its strategy to increase market penetration and expand its
temperature controlled products and services to the
refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Established in 1978, Tricool Engineering has grown to become the
UK’s largest bespoke chiller and thermoregulator manufacturer.
It has a manufacturing base in Fareham, Hampshire, a highly
skilled workforce and exports specialist products across the
globe.
Commenting on the acquisition Philip Wilson, ICS Cool Energy
Director says:

Engineering. Its well-respected name and reputation in the
industry will provide us with a strong platform to grow the
business.”

With the addition of Tricool, ICS is now in a position to offer
the industry a wide portfolio of companies that also includes
ICS Systems and Cool Energy.
ICS Systems is the UK’s premier supplier of packaged chillers
whose brands include Thermocold, Climaveneta and MTA’s TAE range
of chillers.
Cool Energy, is a stand-alone specialist chiller and air
conditioning rental company operating across Europe, alongside
ICS Services, which offers a national installation and breakdown
service, using parts available from stock.
ICS also provides a wide range of services including bespoke
installations such as pipework, water tanks, pump arrangements,
glycol, air blast coolers and tailored project management.
ICS Cool Energy provides support throughout the UK and Ireland,
with offices in London, Edinburgh, Bradford, Birmingham,
Bristol, Dublin and New Milton. In mainland Europe the company
has offices in Germany based in Munich and Dortmund.
