Toshiba Air Conditioning - 25 year record for Toshiba’s Longest Serving Distributor
Rodney and Derek Phelan were delighted to
receive an award from Toshiba Commercial Director David MacRae
at TCUK hq in Leatherhead, to commemorate 25 years of their
company as a distributor of Toshiba air conditioning products.
GT Phelan is the longest serving distributor of Toshiba air
conditioning in Europe. It is also believed to be the longest
serving distributor of an air conditioning product brand in the
industry.
“We are obviously very proud of our long association with
Toshiba”, says Derek Phelan, “but we are equally proud of
our long standing trading relationships with building services
firms. Along with one or two others, GT Phelan pioneered the
introduction of air conditioning to Ireland and has retained its
market-leading status by continuing to be innovative over the
years.
“A major factor in our success is the quality of the product
portfolio at our disposal. GT Phelan is every bit a service
provider as much as a product supplier. These services include:
design assistance, product selection, specification advice,
technical support, trouble-shooting, planned maintenance
programmes; emergency call-outs and these days, increasingly,
energy advice.
“GT Phelan is not content to sit back and bask in the light of
past successes. The focus is very much on bringing to the
marketplace the innovative and technologically advanced products
coming on stream from Toshiba.”
