British Harlequin … and the winner of the Home Dance Studio is ….
Mary Clarke, Editor of ‘Dancing Times’, was invited to the
British Harlequin exhibition stand at MOVE-IT 2007 to draw the
winning entry for a Home Dance Studio Pack. The lucky winner was
Sammi-Jo Gammon from the Solo Dance Studio in Kent.
Throughout the MOVE-IT 2007 event, held at London’s Olympia
exhibition venue, a steady stream of dancers and dance teachers
visited the Harlequin stand to try out the Home Dance Studio,
which was launched at the show and to enter the competition for
a chance to win one of their own.
Designed and packed for home delivery – at present only in the
UK - the Home Dance Studio is based on Harlequin’s popular
Liberty sprung floor panels with Cascade vinyl surface. Assembly
is child’s play, enabling a 1800mm x 1800mm (6ft x 6ft)
professional quality dance floor to be set up within 10 to 15
minutes.
Harlequin dance floors were extensively used at MOVE-IT 2007 not
only on the main stage but also for all the dance classes held
at the event.
