Autodesk sets the technology agenda at Think 07

Pete Baxter, Autodesk AEC sales director, Northern Europe, will be in good company as guest presenter at the inaugural Think 07 exhibition and conference (1 – 3 May 2007, ExCeL, London). Fellow speakers include HRH the Prince of Wales, Al Gore (via live satellite link) and Lord Coe.
Think 07 is a new landmark event for the UK construction and property markets, comprising high-profile conferences, exhibitions and networking opportunities around three themes: sustainability, regeneration and innovation. Baxter will be speaking about the key part technology can play in furthering all three of these on Wednesday 2 May at 2pm as part of the show’s Innovation track. Autodesk is official technology partner for the event.
“The role design technology and allied strategies such as building information modelling (BIM) can play in facilitating more sustainable and more efficient design is often understated. However, new advances in design software are making it possible for users to actually experience their ideas before they put them into practice, encouraging improved analysis, testing and experimentation and leading to higher quality design and construction,” says Baxter.
Autodesk will also be exhibiting at Think 07 on stands C26 and K13 where visitors will be able to see demonstrations of its Revit® Architecture and Revit® Structure applications, purpose-built for BIM.
