Gallery is highlighting their bespoke sister company Hestia –
which is Scotland’s last remaining specialised business to
provide hand-crafted design and manufacture of wooden
mantelpieces.
With a reputation for quality and craftsmanship Hestia was a
popular brand in its own right until it was bought over by the
Edinburgh Fireplace Gallery in 2005. Many people are perhaps
unaware that Hestia is still in operation and going strong.
Hestia, (named after the Greek goddess of the hearth, and
daughter of Zeus) specialises in manufacturing mantelpieces,
tables and related furniture to architects drawings and
customer’s specification; working in Pine, Mahogany, Oak,
Cherry, Maple, Beech and Black Walnut.
The Edinburgh Fireplace Gallery is the sole retailer of the
Hestia range. Customers have the opportunity to find out more
