An SOE IPlantE Professional Sector seminar - 18 April 2007
Time: 6.30 - 9.00pm - Venue: De Vere Hotel, Daresbury Park,
Warrington
At the time of going to press, The Conservative Party secured a
parliamentary debate on the new CDM Regulations over fears on
long-term liability for construction firms. The new CDM
regulations come into force at the beginning of April. Is your
business ready?
"This SOE IPlantE technical seminar will educate you on the key
aims of the new Construction Design and Management Regulations
2007," said Krystina Snaith, Technical Events Organiser at the
SOE. "It's important that the industry knows not only that
they're here but how it will also affect their business."
The CDM replaces the Construction Regulations of 1994 and the
Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996.
The key aim of CDM2007 is to:
* Integrate health and safety
* Focus attention on the planning and management aspects
of a construction project from design concept onwards.
