Danfoss Randall Ltd - New Fan Coil Acuators from Danfoss
Danfoss has launched an exciting new generation of fan coil
actuators designed to improve the functionality, control and
operational life of its valve/actuator combinations. The
company’s wide selection of actuators with options for 3-point
and modulating control signals, fast and standard speed stroking
options, and with or without external manual operation,
continues to be available.
The new AMV/E 130 and 140 actuators are ideal for use in fan
coils, induction units, small re-heaters, small coolers and zone
applications and work with existing VZ, VZL and VRBZ valves. The
key features of the previous range, including low noise output,
end-position off to reduce power consumption and tool-free
connection, have been retained.
Both the AMV and AME 130 and 140 versions have added features of
external visual position indicators, a solid ring connectors to
reduce breakage at high ambient temperatures and an improved
detachable 1.5m cable. They have additional sequencing control
functionality where one 0 -10V control signal can be split to
enable control of one actuator between 0 – 5V and another
between 5 -10V. A self positioning function and LED status
indicator have also been introduced.
