Colt International Ltd - An invitation to explore WRF with Colt International
From April to December, Colt International will be showcasing
its Water Refrigerant Flow (WRF) air conditioning system in a
number of free technical seminars at its headquarters in Havant,
Hampshire.
WRF is a new type of air conditioning, utilising heat pump
technology to provide high performance output, whilst minimising
the use of environmentally harmful refrigerants - thus beating
the F-Gas Regulations. WRF uses a simple neutral water pipework
system to provide simultaneous heating, cooling and heat
recovery. This alternative to variable refrigerant flow (VRF)
technology is also compatible with ground source heat pumps.
Colt is holding a series of half-day CPD technical seminars,
exploring a variety of themes relating to WRF, such as
sustainability, energy efficiency, cost and safety. The seminars
will be particularly interesting for those concerned with
installation and running costs, hydrofluorocarbons (HFC’s),
F-Gas and leak detection.
Dates and seminar topics are as follows:
April 25 – Sustainability and ground source heat pump technology
June 13 – F-Gas Regulations update
September 19 – Energy efficiency and Part L compliance
December 5 – Air conditioning systems for hotels and offices
