Weatherite Building Services Ltd - More school kitchen ventilation contracts from Weatherite
Weatherite Building Services has landed a series of contracts
to upgrade kitchen ventilation systems at four local authority
schools in Salford through Urban Vision Partnership Ltd.
They were the latest in a series of similar projects completed
by the company as part of its partnership deal with De Kobra,
one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of kitchen ventilation
systems.
The contracts called for the supply, installation and
commissioning of De Kobra canopies, ductwork, and speed
controlled extract fans. At one of the schools the company also
installed a new air conditioning system.“We now offer a single
source choice to all members of the supply chain including
project management, design, installation and commissioning
facilities,” explains sales director Mike Turton.
“This covers not only air conditioning equipment but also
ventilation, fire protection, heating, water and control
systems.”
WBS is part of the £40m Weatherite Group, one of the UK’s
leaders in air conditioning and air handling equipment.
More recently WBS has expanded its activities to cover other
sectors of the building services market including heating,
ventilation, boiler house refurbishment, water, control systems
and electrics as well as all aspects of commercial air
conditioning systems, offering a single source choice to its
customers which includes full project management, design,
installation and commissioning capabilities.
