Weatherite Building Services Ltd - Weatherite gets Wing Wah ready for grand opening
Weatherite Building Services has installed
an air conditioning and ventilation system at the new Wing Wah
restaurant in Wolverhampton.
Building contractors P J Rowan Ltd awarded WBS the £93,000
contract to install five Mitsubishi heat pump cassettes, four
wall mounted units and eight Mitsubishi Lossnay heat recovery
ventilation units throughout the restaurant.
The Mitsubishi heat pump cassettes and wall mounted units were
chosen for this particular project because they not only deliver
economical and energy efficient air conditioning but also have
extremely quiet sound levels. Their wide-angle airflow system
allows airflow to be extended to every corner of the room.
The Lossnay ventilation units are also highly energy efficient
and only allow fresh air to be introduced to the indoor
environment. Their multi-ventilation mode allows the user to
adjust the level of fresh air as desired.
Mike Turton, sales director, WBS, commented: “Having worked well
with P J Rowan Ltd on other projects in the past, we were
thrilled to win the tender to carry out the works at the new
Wing Wah restaurant.
“Our engineers worked hard to ensure that everything was
completed within eight weeks, allowing staff plenty of time to
get ready for the opening. We have installed the very latest in
air conditioning technology to ensure that staff and customers
enjoy pleasant temperatures all year round.”
As part of the project, Weatherite also carried out a range of
works including installing gas mains supply pipe work to the
kitchen and gas supply and water heaters to the upstairs
apartment, providing hot and cold water in the kitchen and at
various points around the restaurant and installing sanitary
ware in the toilets.
