Luxo - FREE and Easy...
Luxo's latest floor standing luminaire, FREE, combines screen
printed or prismatic glass with a mirror 5 reflector system and
cast aluminium head glass. Recently upgraded, FREE now has the
option of prismatic glass which increases the light output by
20%.
Designed by Bjorn Siesjo from Kanozi, FREE can be supplied with
a choice of sensors, 2x55W or 4x55W lamps and has a wire
management system which allows excess mains cable to be stored
under the base.
FREE operates with compact fluorescent lamps and satisfies the
varying user needs imperative in today's office environment – it
is adaptable, flexible, very user friendly and easy to position
correctly and personalise.
The designer Björn Siesjö, commented: "What I am striving for is
a product that does the job without too much fuss, a lighting
machine that blends in with the whole and speaks the same
language as the building. Perhaps this is where my particular
approach as an architect lies."
