Hammerson plc - Eastgate Quarters - the new heart of Leeds
Visit the MIPIM Main Exhibition Hall, Stand 14.16 to learn
more about the joint venture between Hammerson plc and Town
Centre Securities plc that will create a ?1 billion 135,000sq m
retail led development. The scheme will also include leisure,
office, residential and community facilities, with 2700
associated car parking spaces, as well as creating up to 600 new
homes and 6000 new jobs for the city.
Sir Terry Farrell whose leading architectural and urban design
practice shaped the development's master plan will also be
launching a new 'collaboration & complexity' initiative;
inviting the cream of architect practices to discuss the
collaborative working opportunities for this 'city making'
project. This will comprise a short presentation by Sir Terry
Farrell on the importance and scale of the scheme, he will then
be available on the stand to answer questions at stand on
Thursday 15th March 2007 from 11am to 12noon.
