Cembrit Blunn appoint new Sales Manager
Cembrit Blunn, specialist in natural and
fibre cement slates, has announced the appointment of Alan
Pritchard to the key position of South West Regional Sales
Manager.
Alan joins Cembrit Blunn from Bradfords Building Supplies where
for three years he was sales executive for the South-East
Cornwall area. Alan was involved in the sale and promotion of
all building products and it was here that he developed a keen
interest in the roofing sector. Prior to this, Alan worked at
Travis Perkins for three years, starting as a yardman and
quickly progressing to an internal sales role.

company and my interest and enthusiasm for the business has been
recognised by Cembrit Blunn who have provided me with an
excellent opportunity as Regional Sales Manager for the
South-West” says Alan. “In my new role I plan to expand business
opportunities and develop successful relationships with new and
existing account holders. Part of this strategy is to raise the
level of support we will be able to provide from our newly
refurbished regional office at Bovey Tracy in Devon.”
Using skills built up over 80 years, Cembrit Blunn select
natural slate from Spain, Canada, Brazil and the countries of
Western Europe. From UK quarries Cembrit®Blunn offer Welsh,
Cornish and Westmorland slates. Quality levels at Group
factories are rigorously maintained to high standards with many
products manufactured under the control of ISO 9001 and British
